News : Abraham reveals Valentino Rossi's new ride for 2012

Ducati Desmosedici GP12 has closed a private test at the Jerez Circuit, Spain, last week. Ducati Corse only mention the changes to 90% and still reluctant to explain further.

Ducati satellite team, Cardion AB, with the rider Karel Abraham reveals new ride Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden on his official website. Desmosedici GP12 will use a 999 cc engine capable of producing power 250 hp or 15 hp more than the 800 cc version. Acceleration recorded 0-100 kph 2.6 seconds.

Bike weights only 115 pounds or 5 kilograms heavier than 800 cc version. Claimed speed is 360 kph can be translucent. While 800 cc version is only 340 kph.

The biggest change is only on the frame using aluminum to replace deltabox Carbon monocoque. The machine uses a 90-degree model with a 4-cylinder.

Selected front and rear suspension Ohlins 48 mm with Brembo four-piston brakes in front and two-piston at the rear.
