News : October, Nissan's New Necord Sales For 10 Years in Indonesia

Nissan Indonesia (PT Nissan Motor Indonesia) announced that reached 6334 unit sales in October was the highest record since the company was established September 2001. Nissan is one of the two brands in Indonesia with the highest sales growth in October. Another one is Mitsubishi.

With it all, Nissan's market share during October rose to 7.4 percent compared to 5.4 percent the previous month. Models that contribute greatly increase the sales of Nissan in Indonesia is Grand Livina , March, and Juke. Grand Livina 3398 contributing units (54 percent), Juke unit 1418, and March 827 units.

NMI President Takayuki Kimura said, "Although there has been flooding in Thailand, Nissan still managed to increase sales. This proves, Nissan products suited to the needs of Indonesian consumers."

Further, the flood that hit Thailand since early October forced activity Nissan factory in Samut Prakan has been discontinued for a while. The reason, the supply of spare parts stopped.

For Nissan Indonesia, the normal production activities. Nissan's plant in Cikampek still have enough stock and continue to produce the Grand Livina, March, and Juke.
