News : KIA Rio and Picanto won Red Dot Design Award

Two variants of KIA won prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Are two KIA Rio and Picanto hatchback, won that award.

Prior to Rio and Picanto, Kia Soul wins in 2009, followed in 2010 by KIA Venga then Kia Sportage and Optima grabbed the top spot in 2011.

"We are very proud KIA Picanto and Kia Rio is able to achieve a degree of red dot design," explained Kia's Chief Officer Peter Schreyer, as reported by autoevolution, Wednesday (03/14/2012).

"This is a great tribute to all of our design team, because all of design team involved in development of KIA Picanto and Rio. I am very pleased this partnership is really creative. Great success for our team in Korea, Europe and America, "concludes Peter.
