FIM said that currently only 16 teams registered to join the MotoGP World Championship season of 2012.FIM has been coordinating with Dorna and decided to give more information to related parties which contains 21 riders. Such information includes full details about the terms and conditions of participation in MotoGP.
Teams that are serious will be processed the application in May to June.
In summer 2012, the MotoGP will enter a new era because engine capacity will be increased from 800cc to 1000cc.
MotoGP grid currently stands at 17 riders. FIM hoping in MotoGP 2012 to include 22-24 racers.
