Video : F1 Australian GP 2012, Jenson Button wins first series

Jenson Button won the first series of Grand Prix Formula 1 season 2012, (03/18/2012). McLaren driver beat the defending champion Sebastian Vettel had to settle for runner-up.

Button to be the best with a time of one hour 34 minutes 9.565 seconds after completing 58 laps. Vettel, winner in Albert Park last year, and start in sixth, finishing second by a margin of 2.1 seconds with Button, two seconds ahead of Hamilton, who was in third place.

Four cars finish in very close that Kamui Kobayashi, Kimi Raikkonen, Sergio Perez, and Daniel Ricciardo.

Eight riders fail to finish the race, including Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, and Romain Grosjean.

Video : Moto2 Australia 2011, Alex de Angelis wins, Marquez from last to 3rd

Marc Marquez did not win the Moto2 series Australia at Phillip Island some time ago. The Spaniard was only third place.

Race was won by Alex de Angelis was followed by Stefan Bradl in second place.

The extraordinary race for Marquez is starting from last position or grid 38. But with the talent, skill, mental strength and supported with a good motor, Marquez had skyrocketed to be able to finish third.

These results make the title race getting tighter. Marquez is now only 3 points left from Bradl in the first place.

Video : MotoGP Australia 2011, Stoner wins, Stoner World Champion 2011

Casey Stoner finally completed his dream to become a MotoGP world championship this season. Won the race in his own home, Stoner even embraced second championship title in his career.

Stoner was untouchable from start to finish and make himself a record fifth successive victory on this circuit since 2007.

Racing this time not followed by two Factory Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies who suffered an injury during warm-up lap.

As a result the race was dominated by Honda rider, who finished first through fourth. Fifth place was won by Ducati, Nicky Hayden.

The Doctor again achieved poor results after slipping on lap 12 shortly after the preceding Alvaro Bautista to be in fifth position.


Stoner became the world champion, which stood at 325 points in the riders standings and could not be overtaken again by Jorge Lorenzo (260 points) in two series remaining, Sepang and Valencia.

News : Qualifying MotoGP Phillip Island 2011, Stoner got pole position

Casey Stoner was absolutely unstoppable in grabbing pole position at the Phillip Island circuit. Repsol Honda rider was right to start the race on Sunday leading edge of the grid after he scored the fastest time in Qualifying Practice session Grand Prix of Australia.

But Stoner efforts to clinched his second world is likely to get resistance from Jorge Lorenzo will start from the second grid. In the qualifying session, the Yamaha Factory Racing rider was lost to 0.473 seconds of Stoner.

Last grid in the first row will be filled by San Carlo Honda Gresini rider Marco Simoncelli. While Alvaro Bautista will occupy the first grid in the second row. It at once became the best qualifying result of Rizla Suzuki MotoGP rider.

The top five positions filled by Andrea Doviziozo which was followed by two American rider, Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies.

Other Honda Repsol rider, Dani Pedrosa was only able to occupy 8th position of, in front of Colin Edwadrs and two Pramac Racing riders, Loris Capirossi and Randy de Puniet.

While Valentino Rossi, who since the session Free Practice 1 (FP1) was able to record the above position 10 eventually had to settle for starting the race from 13th on the grid to the back of Hiroshi Aoyama.
