General Motors Indonesia officially launched its latest product from Chevrolet in Indonesia (19/03/2012). The new product will compete in MPV class with name Chevrolet Orlando .Chevrolet Orlando is only offered in a choice of petrol engines with a capacity of 1.8 liter (141 hp and 176 Nm) with automatic transmission 6-speed tiptronic.
In MPV segment, Orlando will compete with Honda Odyssey or Mitsubishi Grandis in MPV upper middle class or Kijang Innova in MPV middle class.
Orlando offers many features including ABS brakes, 4 airbags, Electronic Stability Program, Traction Control. There are 8 color options: Olympic White, Switchblade Silver, Carbon Flash, Velvet Red Metallic, Gunsmoke Grey Metallic, Blue Metallic Mineral Oil, Day Dream Beige Metallic, Pewter Metallic.
Reportedly, Orlando will be sold at aroor about IDR 324 million on the road.
