Two variants of KIA won prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Are two KIA Rio and Picanto hatchback, won that award.

Prior to Rio and Picanto, Kia Soul wins in 2009, followed in 2010 by KIA Venga then Kia Sportage and Optima grabbed the top spot in 2011.

"We are very proud KIA Picanto and Kia Rio is able to achieve a degree of red dot design," explained Kia's Chief Officer Peter Schreyer, as reported by autoevolution, Wednesday (03/14/2012).
