Porsche AG will soon release a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with name smells of Indonesia is "Macan".The selection of name is recognized by German premium car manufacturer comes from Indonesian language. One reason "Tiger has a good meaning, and also easy to pronounce. In English,"Macan" means "Tiger".
Macan for Porsche is defined as strength, flexibility, and dynamic appeal. This is explained by Bernhard Maier, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing Porsche AG.
SUV Tigers will be one of mainstay Porsche as part of marketing strategy in 2018. Tigers hope to continue Porsche Cayenne success.
Tigers will begin production in 2013 at Leipzig plant with an additional investment of 500 million euros.
