News : MotoGP 2012, Lorenzo supports Buddh Circuit for MotoGP

During his visit to India, Lorenzo had tried Buddh International Circuit in New Delhi. Then how Lorenzo's opinion about the circuit?

In a statement to the Times of India, Lorenzo simply admiring the circuit with a length of 5137 km. "Today was a visit to the Buddh circuit is running fine. The track is very modern and wide," Lorenzo said in Crash.

He argues Circuit Buddh feasible to hold a MotoGP race. "Equipped with one of the best race tracks in the world and has held a F1, we can expect India will become next destination for MotoGP," he continued.

Last year this circuit has held F1 race on October 30. In the race, Sebastian Vettel emerged as the champion, runner-up Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso in third podium.

Video : New Honda CBR600F will appear in New Delhi Auto Expo

Honda will again showcase the newest products at the event in New Delhi Auto Expo, at 7 to 11 January 2012. Motor that will be taken by the Motorcycle and Scooters India Limited (HMSI) is the latest generation of Honda CBR600F.

In terms of performance Honda CBR600F has an aggressive and sporty design. It is seen from a full fairing with a blend of white, red and black striping and models with acute angle.

Motor with a weight of 194 kg has four liquid-cooled DOHC engine with a capacity of 599cc. The machine was capable of producing power by 100.6 bhp and maximum torque of 47.2 ft-lb.


In the braking system, CBR600F equipped with dual 296 mm discs with three-piston calipers in the front, while in the rear using a 245 mm disc with single piston.

While at the wheel, wheel bolt CBR600F uses five with tires sized 120/70 front and 180/55 17 in X 17 in the rear.

Video : Suzuki R3 2012 will debut at Delhi Auto Expo 2012

The car manufacturer, Suzuki ready to launch their latest MVP named Suzuki Ertiga in early 2012. Car developed by Maruti Suzuki India is predicted to debut in India Auto Expo in January 2012.

The car is scheduled to enter the Indonesian market with senjumlah advantages, such as keluasaan cabin than other competitors, especially Avanza and Xenia.

Recent developments of Bajaj Auto Indonesia (BAI), in addition to marketing the brand motorcycle Bajaj, also will sell KTM motorcycle brand in Indonesia. This can happen because the majority of the shares of KTM is now owned by Bajaj Auto India.

The latest news, by the end of this year Bajaj India to launch KTM Duke 125. Most likely, Bajaj Indonesia will follow. This was stated directly by Tomotaka Ishikawa, President of BAI when introducing himself to reporters at Indochine Cafe, Senayan, South Jakarta, yesterday (05/25/2011).

"The possibility of us (BAI) launched the product in Indonesia, Yes!" Tomotaka clear, without mentioning details. While Budi Dirgantoro, National Marketing Head of BAI, said, "Launching new products in India, will also be followed in Indonesia."




Budi give an example, Pulsar 220 was launched in Indonesia in March 2011, while India in January 2010. "Usually there is a span of time between India and Indonesia. If KTM launched in India later this year, possibly go to Indonesia it appears logical a year later,"said Budi.

If the KTM Duke 125 go to Indonesia, the segment being targeted is the naked bike style SuperMoto, a new segment of the motorcycle market in Indonesia.

In India, 125 Duke priced ranging from 125000-300000 rupee or Rp 23.6 million to USD 56.8 million.

Honda prepare City Diesel for India Market

Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), the distributor of Honda cars in India have plans to market diesel engines in the medium sedan model. The consideration, in addition to more efficient than gasoline, helping motorists who bears the price of gasoline continues to rise.

Gasoline is priced in India INR 21 per liter, while diesel fuel price is very affordable for communities in India that is INR 10 per liter.

It is reported that the new engine capacity of 1.5 liters and potentially mounted on a Honda City. But, it is possible also on other Honda models, like the Jazz.

Honda expects this new variant could help the brand to provide a better package and can compete with other brands. Recently, Inaba from HSCI said the introduction of the diesel model is not the only option to grow in India.

But Honda did not want to rush to play in diesel car segment. This Japanese manufacturer took two years to develop a diesel-engined City. And City diesel plant will be presented from 2013.

Currently, Honda India is still developing two diesel engines with a capacity of 1400 cc and 1,600 cc.
