Video : Italian MotoGP 2012, Pedrosa pole, Barbera third

Dani Pedrosa took pole position on 2012 Italian MotoGP. On the qualifications held a few hours ago, Pedrosa recorded the best time of 1m 47.284 s.

The time was enough for the Repsol Honda rider to beat rivals, Jorge Lorenzo who only came in second place.

The surprise comes from the Pramac Ducati rider, Hector Barbera who recorded the third best time of 1m 47.545 s.

Casey Stoner getting less good result and will start the race from the second grid.

Video : WSBK Imola 2012 Race 1, Carlos Checa wins, Sykes second

Carlos Checa won World Superbike series Imola 2012 race 1. In the race that ended a while ago, Checa beat Tom Sykes who start race from Superpole.

Meanwhile, Italian Max Biaggi could only finish in fourth position after overtaken by Leon Haslam and eligible for third podium.

On race incidents involving Sylvain Guintoli and Chaz Davies. Both drivers failed to finish the race.

Video : Valentino Rossi greeted fans at Mugello 2011

Valentino Rossi is the King of Mugello, which stood at seven consecutive titles from 2002 to 2008.

But since a move to Ducati this season, Rossi has not shown compelling performances. Obtaining best only the third podium.

In the race at Mugello last week, The Doctor could only finish in sixth place after starting the race from the 12th position.

Video : Italian MotoGP Mugello 2011, Lorenzo is back

Lorenzo is back ...! Yup, the World Champion Jorge Lorenzo managed to become champion Italian MotoGP Mugello 2011 some time ago. Lorenzo managed to overtake Casey Stoner six laps before finish line.

Meanwhile, Casey Stoner was third only after overtaken teammate, Andrea Dovizioso just before the finish. Meanwhile, Ben Spies won the duel in the final corner against Marco Simoncelli and finish fourth.

Marco Simoncelli had to settle for fifth place followed by compatriot Italian Valentino Rossi in sixth position.

With the victory, Lorenzo reduce the distance by Casey Stoner, who still lead the standings.
