US MotoGP 2013 : Marquez wins, firmly on top

Honda rider, Marc Marquez, got maximum results in US MotoGP race at Laguna Seca. He managed to be the fastest and got second wins in a row.

In the race, Marquez became the fastest in the 32 lap race with a time of 44 minutes 0.695 seconds.

LCR Honda team rider, Stefan Bradl, was runner-up after finishing 2.2 seconds slower. Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi completed the podium after successfully winning the third place duel against Alvaro Bautista.

With this result, Marquez more firmly  in the first position of the rider standings, which stood at 163 points. He's 16 points ahead of Dani Pedrosa in second.

Meanwhile for Bradl, who succeeded in reach podium in MotoGP U.S. is the first time in a long time MotoGP race.

Video : MotoGP Laguna Seca 2011, Best Moment from light to flag

Last week, Circuit Laguna Seca Casey Stoner witness retaliation against Jorge Lorenzo.

Although it had scattered behind Dani Pedrosa and Lorenzo, Stoner was able to overtake both drivers.

Video : MotoGP Laguna Seca 2011, Stoner win, Simoncelli crash (again)

Casey Stoner won the MotoGP victory in the United States after winning a fierce duel with Jorge Lorenzo who finally had to settle for finishing in second position.

Stoner finished the race by 32 laps at Laguna Seca, with the fastest time. Repsol Honda rider was defeated Lorenzo (Yamaha) and Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda).

Meanwhile, Marco Simoncelli again failed to score points because of a fall on the track. The same was experienced by Alvaro Bautista, Ben Bostrom and Cal Crutchlow.

The results at Laguna Seca was to Stoner's fifth victory this season. Additional 25 points does it continue to fester at the top of the standings by a margin of 20 points over closest pursuer, Jorge Lorenzo.

Video : Qualifying MotoGP Laguna Seca 2011, Lorenzo crash and take pole

Jorge Lorenzo crash in the final free practice did not affect performance when diving qualifying session. The proof, Yamaha rider successful took pole position.

Quoted from Autosport, Lorenzo able to rise from the incident by scoring the fastest time of 1 minute 21.610 seconds at the Laguna Seca circuit on Sunday (07/24/2011). Casey Stoner will start the race right behind her with a gap of 0.072 seconds.

Winner of the German MotoGP, Dani Pedrosa completed the front row with the third best record time to 1 minute 21.385 seconds.
