Video and Result : MotoGP Catalunya 2012, Lorenzo won, Pedrosa second

Jorge Lorenzo won second victory in a row in MotoGP this year. This time xfuerra won the home race at Circuit de Catalunya.

The victory was not achieved easily because first must duel against compatriot Dani Pedrosa.

Dani Pedrosa had to settle for second after losing grip of the tires and passed by Lorenzo 5 laps before finish line.

Defending Champion Casey Stoner only fourth position behind Andrea Dovizioso who took third podium. Fifth and sixth positions respectively won by Cal Crutchlow and Alvaro Bautista.

Lorenzo now lead the championship with 115 points after 5 of 18 races, Stoner second with 95 and Pedrosa 85.

Video and Result : Moto2 Catalunya 2012, Andrea Iannone won dramatic race

Andrea Iannone claimed first Moto2 victory this year at Circuit de Catalunya some time ago. The victory was quite dramatic because it is determined a few corners before the finish line.

The second position is achieved by Thomas Luthi, who finished a few meters behind Iannone.

Host rider Marc Marquez just finished third after an incident with another Spaniard Pol Espargaro.

Espargaro failed to finish the race but luckily for Marquez for being able to continue the race and got third podium.

News : Moto3 Catalunya 2012, Vinales won home race

Maverick Vinales won Moto3 home race at Catalunya circuit some time ago. Vinales, who started from pole position unstoppable opponents until the finish line.

Meanwhile standings leader Sandro Cortese finished in second place after winning the exciting duel with several other riders.

Third ranked won by Portugal rider Miguel Oliveira followed by Louis Rossi in fourth place.

With this result, Vinales trailed Cortese in the standings with 80 points or 7 points behind.

Video and Result : Qualifying MotoGP Catalunya 2012, Stoner pole

Casey Stoner was quickest in qualifying Catalunya MotoGP 2012 and is entitled to occupy pole position in race tomorrow (06/03/2012).

Australian rider recorded a best time of 1m 41.295 s. The second position is obtained by Yamaha rider, Jorge Lorenzo with a time of 1m 41.441s

Cal Crutchow complete first grid after record time of 1m 41.548s followed by Ben Spies in fourth.

Dani Pedrosa was only fifth due out on the track a few minutes before the end of session. Obtained sixth place Andrea Dovizioso who had scored the fastest time.

News : Condition gets recovered, Edwards is ready to race in Catalunya

Towards Catalunya GP, good news for Colin Edwards fans because the rider was ready to return to ride his motorcycle.

As known, CRT driver Forward Racing Team was absent in final series at Le Mans due to a broken collarbone he suffered in Estoril series.

Although 90% condition, but Edwards has been declared able to race previously scheduled at Le Mans.

In a statement United States rider was very keen to return to race after resting a few days.
