Video and Result : MotoGP Catalunya 2012, Lorenzo won, Pedrosa second

Jorge Lorenzo won second victory in a row in MotoGP this year. This time xfuerra won the home race at Circuit de Catalunya.

The victory was not achieved easily because first must duel against compatriot Dani Pedrosa.

Dani Pedrosa had to settle for second after losing grip of the tires and passed by Lorenzo 5 laps before finish line.

Defending Champion Casey Stoner only fourth position behind Andrea Dovizioso who took third podium. Fifth and sixth positions respectively won by Cal Crutchlow and Alvaro Bautista.

Lorenzo now lead the championship with 115 points after 5 of 18 races, Stoner second with 95 and Pedrosa 85.

Video and Result : Qualifying MotoGP Catalunya 2012, Stoner pole

Casey Stoner was quickest in qualifying Catalunya MotoGP 2012 and is entitled to occupy pole position in race tomorrow (06/03/2012).

Australian rider recorded a best time of 1m 41.295 s. The second position is obtained by Yamaha rider, Jorge Lorenzo with a time of 1m 41.441s

Cal Crutchow complete first grid after record time of 1m 41.548s followed by Ben Spies in fourth.

Dani Pedrosa was only fifth due out on the track a few minutes before the end of session. Obtained sixth place Andrea Dovizioso who had scored the fastest time.

News : Condition gets recovered, Edwards is ready to race in Catalunya

Towards Catalunya GP, good news for Colin Edwards fans because the rider was ready to return to ride his motorcycle.

As known, CRT driver Forward Racing Team was absent in final series at Le Mans due to a broken collarbone he suffered in Estoril series.

Although 90% condition, but Edwards has been declared able to race previously scheduled at Le Mans.

In a statement United States rider was very keen to return to race after resting a few days.

Video : MotoGP Catalunya 2011, victory lap Stoner, Lorenzo and Ben Spies

As is known in the Catalunya MotoGP 2011 (06/05/2011), Casey Stoner managed to become champion set aside Yamaha duo Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies.

The victory was more special because it is done in xfuerra homeland. Now both of them is only 7 points only.

From the beginning of the third race drivers are bolted to the front row without being cuckolded by other drivers.

After touching the finish line third-round victory gave the drivers as a greeting and thanks to the spectators and fans who have supported them throughout the race.

Video : Stefan Bradl win Moto2 Catalunya 2011

German rider Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) won the race in the series Moto2 Catalunya Spain (05/06/2011).

Race from pole position, Bradl is unrivaled by other racers. Although at the beginning of the race, his position had shifted by Mapfre Aspar Team rider is Julian Simon, but Bradl still look perfect and quiet without making the slightest mistake.

Racing spiced by several incidents involving several riders like Yuki Takahashi, Simon and Sofuoglu. This was exploited by Marc Marquez (Team CatalunyaCaixa Repsol) who managed to finish second. The third podium achieved by another Spanish rider, Aleix Espargaro (pons Kalex).
