Moto2 World Champion 2011, Stefan Bradl has announced that he will race with number # 6 with LCR Honda MotoGP debut in this year.

As quoted crash.net from the official Facebook page, Bradl announced the use of the number "6" and hope will be a lucky number in MotoGP.

This was originally the German race with the #65 he wore while in Moto2. But that number was retired in honor of the career record for veteran MotoGP rider Loris Capirossi.

News : Stefan Bradl tie 2 year contract with LCR Honda in MotoGP

Moto2 world champion, Stefan Bradl, up to the MotoGP class in the 2012 season. The assurance came after the German rider formally signed a two-year contract with LCR Honda team.

"This is a fantastic thing, because a dream come true," said 21-year-old rider, who just try out the Honda 800 cc engine with LCR.

"When I've tested the RC212V at Valencia, I realized that the LCR team is very professional and well organized, so I'm sure they will do their best to support me: make my debut in the premier class with RC212V fun and I can not wait to get back on track . "

In the recent season, LCR team signed Toni Elias. Unfortunately, the appearance of the winner in the inaugural Moto2 season was not as expected as he slumped in the order of 15. Therefore, Bradl expected to give a better performance in the inaugural season in the 1,000 cc MotoGP season 2012.

Bradl, who was the son of former GP rider Helmut Bradl, won four victories and 11 podium finishes, in the course embrace Moto2 world championship. He uses Kalex chassis, and incorporated in the Viessmann Kiefer Racing team. Bradl will become the first rider from Germany who appeared in MotoGP since Alex Hofmann in 2007.

Video : Moto2 Silverstone 2011, Bradl takes British win

Stefan Bradl won the race again in the sixth series Moto2 at Silverstone Circuit (06/12/2011). After the start, Stefan Bradl directly lead followed Scott Redding. But not long after, Redding and led the race ahead of Bradl.

Meanwhile, Marc Marquez who winning the pole slipped to third position and continue to pass other drivers on the next lap.

On lap 6 Passini Bradl managed to overtake and lead the race. But on 7 laps before finish Passini fell due to a slippery track. The incident also happened to Marc Marquez who came out the tracks on lap eight.

After the incident Stefan Bradl returned to lead the race and led alone in front. Meanwhile, Bradley Smith stalking in second place with a considerable distance and Pirro in third. Redding positioned fourth after Pirro skipped.

Lap-12 Sofuoglu crashes ...

On lap-13 Bradl almost made a mistake after the motor that drove a little slippage. But lucky, Bradl still can return to the track with the advantages of 7 seconds from the second position Smith.

Bradl uncontrollably finally finish first followed by Smith in second position and Pirro third.

Video : Stefan Bradl win Moto2 Catalunya 2011

German rider Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) won the race in the series Moto2 Catalunya Spain (05/06/2011).

Race from pole position, Bradl is unrivaled by other racers. Although at the beginning of the race, his position had shifted by Mapfre Aspar Team rider is Julian Simon, but Bradl still look perfect and quiet without making the slightest mistake.
